How do I properly care for and clean my wooden products?
Wood is a natural material and needs a little care to stay beautiful and durable for a long time. With the right steps, you can significantly extend the lifespan of your utensils:
Cleaning
- Always wash wooden products by hand with lukewarm water and a mild dish soap.
- Do not use a dishwasher; heat and moisture can cause the wood to swell and crack.
- After washing, dry your products thoroughly straight away with a cloth so no residual moisture is drawn into the wood.
Care
- Oil your wooden products regularly, ideally with a food-safe oil (e.g. olive oil, linseed oil, or a special wood care oil).
- Apply a little oil to a soft cloth and rub it evenly over the surface. Let it soak in for a few hours, then wipe away any excess oil.
- Repeat this care regularly, about every few weeks or depending on use. This keeps the wood supple and brings out its beautiful grain.
Dealing with Discolouration
- Foods such as beetroot, pomegranate, or turmeric can leave dark stains. These are harmless and do not affect use.
- You can gently rub away fresh stains with lemon juice or a little baking soda on a damp cloth.
- Over time, discolouration fades on its own, giving your board a natural patina and character.
- If stronger stains bother you, you can lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper (e.g. 240 grit) and then re-oil it.
Additional Tips
- Do not leave wooden products sitting in water for long periods.
- Avoid extreme heat (e.g. on radiators or in direct sunlight), as the wood could crack.
- It is best to store boards and bowls upright or in a dry place.

Why hasn’t my order been shipped yet?
Please allow us a little time to prepare your order for shipment. We usually dispatch orders within 24 hours, but in some cases it may take a little longer.
Can I still change when and how my parcel will be delivered?
Yes, that’s possible! Our shipping partner will usually notify you by email when your parcel is announced for delivery. There you can, for example, postpone the delivery date or choose a parcel shop as the collection point.
What happens if I’m not home on the first delivery attempt?
If the courier doesn’t find you at home, you’ll see in the tracking information whether your parcel was left with a neighbor or at a branch. In many cases, there will also be another delivery attempt.

Please check the tracking information first. Often the parcel is left with a neighbor or at a parcel shop. If the status hasn’t changed for more than 5 days, please contact our customer service. You’ll find the contact options below.
Is delivery free of charge, and which parcel service do you use?
Delivery is always free of charge for our customers.
We ship with UPS and FedEx, as these shipping partners stand for especially secure and reliable delivery.
Every parcel comes with full tracking. Using the tracking number you receive by email, you can check at any time where your order is and when it will be delivered.
What should I do if I entered the wrong address?
In general, orders can still be canceled or adjusted with us shortly before shipment. Please contact us with your order number:
- Simply reply to your order confirmation email, or
- contact our customer service directly.
We’ll take care of it as quickly as possible.
I received a damaged parcel

Are the items you ordered intact?
If only the packaging is damaged, you are of course welcome to keep and use the items as normal. Please understand that we cannot replace damaged shipping materials.

How do I return an item?

Please contact us first via our contact form and let us know your order number as well as the items you would like to return.
We will send you all further return information within 24 hours.
Then:
› Pack the item carefully
› Drop off the parcel at a parcel shop (UPS, FedEx, DHL or other carriers)
› Keep the receipt as proof of return
As soon as your return has reached us, we will refund the amount to your original payment method within a few days.
How does the refund process work?
As soon as we have reviewed your return, we will refund the amount via the payment method you selected. Please note that, depending on the payment provider, it can take up to 10 business days for the refund to reach you.
If you paid with a voucher, the refund will first be credited back to the voucher until the original amount has been fully settled.
Can I send back multiple orders together?

What are your warranty terms?

Why can’t I select my preferred payment method (e.g. Klarna)?
There may be several reasons why a particular payment method is unavailable:
- Delivery and billing addresses do not match (for example, when delivering to a DHL Packstation).
- The combination of name and address could not be found (for example, due to a typo, a move, or a change of name).
- There is still an outstanding balance from a previous order.
- Our independent credit agencies assess your creditworthiness in a way that means this payment method is not being enabled at the moment.
- For our customers in Switzerland, Klarna is generally not available as a payment method.
As a matter of principle, we reserve the right not to offer certain payment methods for individual orders.
What can I do if my payment method is unavailable?
- Check whether you have any open orders and settle them.
- Make sure the delivery and billing addresses were entered correctly and are identical.
Please understand that our customer service cannot activate a payment method and is also not permitted to see why an option is not being offered to you. Protecting your data takes priority here.
For every order, we reassess which payment methods are available. So it may well be that your preferred payment method will be available again with your next order.
